Some of the physical trainings are stretching the body, stretching the hands, clapping the hands etc. kind of exercise which helps to control our body and mind. It enables us to unite body, mind and spirit. It is important for the physical and mental fitness. Many diseases like heart disease, high-blood pressure, lungs disease, forgetfulness etc. can even be cured by practicing yoga.
Yoga increases our memory power. It also helps in our study. The yoga removes our tension and improves our eyesight. It also enables us to breathe comfortably.
The position in which we keep our body and body parts in yoga is called asana. There are different kinds of asanas. Some of them are Swastikasana, Padmasana, Naukasana, Shavasana, Halasana etc.
